Vampire Identity in Second Life

The Vampire Industry

Alongwith Science Fiction and Fantasy Horror as a genre is popular for RP inSecond Life. In fact it seems to be very popular. I have observed thatcertain genres have different gender ranges. Science Fiction remainsmostly a male domain where as horror remains a popular date flickgenre. Flirtation is the exchange driving Second Life culture and notsurprising this Vampire complex is always crowded as far as I can tell.

Bondage in Second Life

As one would imagine in a 3-D based RL like Virtual Reality sex play of the highly symbolic kind is important. Virtual Bondage is the most symbolic of sexual activities. Its probably not that you are licking a shoe or being struck, but the knowledge of the meaning of these activities. Plus bondage involves a lot of talking. And clothing play. All this makes bondage very popular in Second Life.

UK Media 'hampering' crimes debate

Media 'hampering' crimes debate

The media is making it increasingly difficult to conduct a rational debate on the criminal justice system, a probation chief has said.

Chief Inspector of Probation in England and Wales Andrew Bridges said there was a need to focus on "mundane truths" rather than "exciting fallacies".

MSFT backs Icahn

SAN FRANCISCO - Microsoft Corp. threw its weight behind investor Carl Icahn’s effort to oust Yahoo Inc.’s board next month, saying Monday that a successful rebellion would encourage the software maker to renew its takeover bid for Yahoo or negotiate another multibillion-dollar deal.

The development gives Icahn a huge carrot to dangle before Yahoo shareholders as he wages a campaign to oust Yahoo’s nine directors at the company’s annual meeting Aug. 1.

Microsoft’s support of Icahn also intensifies the pressure on Yahoo co-founder and Chief Executive Jerry Yang, whose handling of the earlier sales negotiations with Microsoft infuriated many shareholders.
