KnoppixKnoppixKnoppix is a popular live Linux distribution known for its excellent hardware support. While Knoppix is known primarily as a live CD or DVD, you can install it on a hard drive for use as a desktop system as well.The distribution, named after developer Klaus Knopper, first appeared in 2003. It's based on Debian, and uses the KDE desktop environment.
