Total Non-Farm Jobs in the U.S. Over the Past 10 Years

It should not be forgotten that while the job number is about the same since 2000, the population has grown by 9% over that time.

From the level in 2000, jobs grew to their peak in 2008 by a total of 5%, but again, that is against a 9% population increase, AND that was as of 2008, as of now, that 5% has been given back.
