BBC News - Cameron pledges energy upgrade for 3m homes
Since Cameron promised to clash spending and get the budge back in line, he has made ever expanding series more money pledges from extra pay for Afghan soldiers to tax cuts for business and married couples to cutting inheritance tax. Now he is going to give out 3,000,000 grants that could go up over £6,000. Assuming that the average is only 1,000 pounds that is a 3 billion pledge coming from the man who promises to cut 10% of the budget.
The question emerges, is Cameron serious about being Prime Minister? Frankly it seems his ego wants it, but he is even less prepared than Boris Johnson was for the job. He has already made so many contradictory pledges and gotten himself in so many fights with other nations who would want him in with a paper thin majority. I can't imagine anything could motivate the Tories to want this man with the kind of majority he at best could get but for spite.
